The Resurrection Project is a special Easter season initiative here at Epiphany Lutheran Church that invites our congregation to put our faith into action during the most hopeful time of the Christian year. Just as we celebrate the new life Christ brought through His resurrection, the Resurrection Project calls us to be instruments of that same new life for others. Over the course of seven weeks, the full season of Easter, we come together as a church family to raise funds that breathe hope, dignity, and opportunity into the lives of people in great need. It is our way of saying that resurrection is not just something we believe in, it is something we participate in.

This year, Epiphany Lutheran is proud to direct our Resurrection Project toward Wings of Hope, a ministry of the Haitian Timoun Foundation (HTF). Wings of Hope is a home in Haiti for 32 residents who are differently abled, providing a place where individuals whose biological families are unable to meet their needs come together to form a beautiful family of their own. Residents receive physical therapy, classroom education, and have access to enriching art and music activities, the kind of holistic care that nurtures the whole person, body and soul. We have set a goal of raising $15,000 over our seven weeks of Easter, and there are two meaningful ways to give: you can make a donation to enrich the Wings of Hope space, including helping them purchase much-needed new beds, or you can personally sponsor one of the 32 residents, connecting your heart directly to a life being lifted up. We invite every member of our Epiphany family to pray, give, and join us in carrying the good news of resurrection beyond our walls and into the lives of those who need it most.
All gifts given through the Resurrection Project will go 100% to the Wings of Hope ministry. Gifts can be given in the following ways:
We will collect donations through May 20 and then celebrate the generosity of the congregation on Pentecost Sunday!
