Did you know that the arrangement of the Old Testament in Protestant Christian Bibles is not original? Along with all ancient Jewish people, Jesus encountered the Scriptures as a three-part collection of scrolls known as the TaNaK, an acronym for the three large subcollections of the Hebrew Bible: Torah (Law), Nevi’im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings). Find out what’s in the Old Testament following these original categories in this TUESDAY MORNING class.

Pastor Seitz holds a Master’s of Sacred Theology from Trinity Lutheran Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago and has taught numerous classes for lay people in Bible, history, and theology.
